Hey Guys, now isn't this interesting, We just need to make sure everyone checks it. tongue.gif
I like the north to south but
i was thinking it would be really nice to
start up in SAPA (north) as our aclimatization trek coz it dosn't sound hard and it would be cool to visit the colourful hill tribes that are up there.rolleyes.gif
Then we might do our community work somewhere? Not sure coz we have to find the people to stay with and help.
For our challenge phase DALAT(north) sounds really good coz there are heaps of interesting AND Challenging treks that start out from there.
Then i don't really know where we would go for the rest and relaxation. cool.gif
How does that sound to you guys as a general idea.

Hey guys, rolleyes.gif
I found out a bit more bout traveling north to south, or south to north if you wish. biggrin.gif
I got info bout their trains eg pricing plus time table
it sounds pretty easy to do but i don't know how we will go bout booking coz i have been told you sometimes have to get your tix ova there
we could talk to a travel agent bout that if we want
But that sounds cheepest unless we research hireing our own charter bus(a bus for our group with a private driver) coz then it's a bit more flexible. tongue.gif

well i'll talk to you all more at the meeting on tues at school or some time

hi guys
did we get any info from World Challenge about the itinerary or anything that i missed out on? cos i haven't heard about the acclimatisation trek... anyway, i don't really mind which way we go, but i thought that it would be best to work systematically through our tasks, so we're not going backwards and forwards. i also think it would be best to stick to trains as much as possible, to keep the budget in check. i think we need to chat with inaya to see what they recommend, and if they can guide us in the right direction in terms of the community work etc.
anyway, speak to you soon

hello all!

hayley bridgwood here aka comet wink.gif

i'm really excited to be (re-)joining your team. it sounds like you've already made great progress in so many areas.
looking forward to catching up with everyone at the next meeting.

i've found a decent detailed itinerary from other people that have travelled to vietnam (from an australian company called world expeditions) - i've placed it on my website if you're interested at the following site:

hkb's Vietnam page

see ya then
