hey guys

i've done a few rough designs, as well as a sponsorship letter asking for donated or discounted screenprinting (haven't sent it, thought i'd check first). i think a polo shirt is good as it's more versatile, and since it's gonna be hot, we don't want something long-sleeved. I'm not so sure about the bandanna, and who would make them... i think a top is nice and basic - and cheap!

i thought maybe a maroon or dark blue or green t-shirt, so it doesn't look too filthy, with a picture of a mountain or something and our team name on the front, and each person's surname across the back (like a soccer jersey). here are a couple i made a second ago:

anyways yeh this is my first what ever this is but i was just wanting to let u know that my sister is on her last year of textile design at rmit and said she'd b happy to help with the t-shirt design or whatever if u want it, she can print and shit and yeh whatever... she's a real good designer, so let me know

yeah, i think we should get the t-shirt moving along, as it would be good to be able to wear them to team fundraisers etc. maybe we should just go without a team name...? i like the idea of emma's sister doing the shirts, as we would save $$ and have more freedom in terms of design.......

I still like the idea of both the numbers (number off) and the quote, Fi's was cute and appropriate for what we are doing, i was just thinking, depends on whos printing the tees and stuff but if we did it like the adelaide exchange polo's you know how they have the writing along the bottom edge on the back. We could put the quote there and still have the big number and name on the back and on the front (the pocket spot) we could have something like "WCE vietnam 2005" or some thing;. Then it kinda fits in all the ideas, and shouldn't look too crowded.

If Emma can give us some more info bout what her sister can and can't do that would be great so we can get this thing done soon.

this is kind of on behalf of emma cos shes away at the moment
but her sister cant print them she can only design them and i gave her all the sort of info we want and shes gunna play around with that i think. im not 100% tho
but i like ur idea lisa about the layout of it all and i rekon y dont we get together and design it ourselves and then we can see if someone can print it for us. i remember peta said her son can print so maybe we could ask her about it. k catch yas later
